Water Audits
WaterWise audits are designed by Queensland Environmental Protection Authority to measure the water use in your home or business and to suggest measures designed to cut down on water usage and thus save you money with water now being charged on a user pays basis. Acacia Plumbing is able to provide "FREE" audits for all clients. If you wish to have an audit carried out please phone our office and book an appointment that is suitable. The audit takes approximately one hour.

Maintaining Your Mains Pressure Hot Water Service
A mains pressure HWS is designed to operate at mains pressure by connecting directly to the council mains pressure water supply. These units are predominantly all the major solar, gas storage, and electric HWS units manufactured by Rheem and Dux although there are units made by Saxon and Beasley.

Essentially they are maintenance free units that require you to only release the relief valve on the top side of the unit every six months. It is important that you raise the lever gently until water flows from the drain pipe and then gently lower. Avoid flicking it up and down.

Periodic maintenance and replacement of valves is required at three yearly intervals and Acacia will automatically contact you when this is required.
